The museum
Muzeon Art Park is a unique public space located on the picturesque embankment of the Moskva River. Established in 1992, the park is Russia's largest open — air sculpture collection, with over 1,000 works of art ranging from Soviet monumental sculpture to modern installations.
Muzeon is not only an open — air gallery, but also a dynamic cultural space offering a variety of activities for both residents and visitors of the city. Festivals and photo exhibitions, theatrical productions and sports workshops are held here, films are watched and plein-airs are held here. And all this is surrounded by a sculpture collection that houses samples of Soviet art and works by Russian avant–gardists, which temporarily exhibits works by contemporary authors such as Dashi Namdakov, Olga Muravina, Lev Efimov.
